Fungus (Sample-based Testing) |
The equipment will not sustain damage or deteriation in functional performance before or after it has been exposed to fungus from table 508.6-I for 28 days. |
Solar Radiation |
Equipment diurnal solar radiation operational levels at all ambient temperature conditions shall be 1120 watts per meter squared without decrease in operational effectiveness perr table 505.5-1 for 3 days. |
Relative Humidity: Storage |
Equipment operational and storage relative humidity shall be up to 100% RH non-condensing as specified figure 507.5-7 for 10 days |
Altitude |
The equipment operating altitude shall be up to 10,650 ft.
Transport altitude shall be up to 35,000 ft. |

The equipment operational high pressure is 31.9 inches of mercury |
Decompression |
The equipment shall not sustain any damage from pressure change corresponding to altitude change of 8000 to 35000 ft in 30 seconds |

Non-operational but outside of the transit case the equipment shall no be rendered inoperable following 35 knot winds on each side for 30 minutes including 5 minutes of 40 knot gusts per side with rainfall intensities of 5cm/hr |

The Non-operational equipment shall be subjected to category 4- Common Carrier and Composite two-wheeled trailer vibration exposures to each axis without degradation in performance. 1.5 hours per axis for common carrier and 1 hour per axis composite two-wheeled trailer |
Shock |
The equipment shall be subjected to 26 drops at 48 inches which is 1 drop per side, edge, and corner and will not sustain damage or deteriation in functional performance.
The equipment shall be subjected to three 40G 11 ms sawtooth pulses in each direction of each orthogonal axis for a total of 6 shocks per axis and repeated twice for a total of 18 shocks and shall operate. |
Salt-Fog |
The equipment shall operate without degradation in a salt-fog environment with a 48 hour exposure to salf-fog with 5% concentration of salt. |
Sand/Dust |
The Non-operational equipment shall be subjected to blowing sand without degradation in performance.
The Non-operational equipment shall be subjected to blowing dust without degradation in performance.
